EXPLORE

Audio Visual Presentation

Our renowned Audiovisual presentation is a must-see for those wishing to learn more about this unique part of Ireland. This short presentation (just 20 minutes) provides you with an insight into the history and archaeology of the locality. We begin with a journey through time from the arrival of early man through to the megalithic tomb builders with the opportunity to learn about the architecture of the stone forts of the Burren region. The audio-visual presentation revolves around the fort, its people, history, archaeology, and flora, with a short history of other local monuments including the ancient megalithic tombs of Poulnabrone Dolmen and Poulawack Cairn.
